Pollinator Garden in the Sand

Project description: Public garden at The Avian Reconditioning Center. My Florida Meadow Co. volunteered the plants, design and installation of this native plant garden.

Planted with all 4” pots during an unusually rainy spring which helped with establishment. We added no amendments to the sandy entisols we planted into. You don’t need to amend sandy entisols if you choose the native species that are adapted for them.
