How we work
We are a design + build + steward company. When we work together, we are committed to seeing your project through the entire process; from designing a thoughtful and unique garden to locating the preferred plants from local nurseries, layout and planting with care and providing stewardship in that crucial first year of establishment.
What to expect, step by step:
- Reach out to us using the contact form.
- Once we hear from you, we will email you an Initial Intake Questionnaire to gather information about your project. We will use this to help gage if your project, priorities, timeline and budget are a good fit for us.
- An in person site consultation follows. If, after seeing the site and having an in person consultation, we both want to work together and agree to move forward, we will send over a proposal to begin design work.
- We want you to love the plants in your garden and we take care to explain plant choices and design intent and welcome your feedback. You can read more about our design process here. Designs are hand drawn, from a bird’s eye perspective.
- Once we have completed the design phase we enter the installation phase. We will provide an estimate for installation. For larger projects, we may work with a landscape contractor. We will layout all the plants and oversee the entire installation.
- Stewardship services for the first year following installation are included in the estimate for installation. We offer biweekly, monthly and quarterly options.
