Project description: Residential, entry gate makeover, new split rail fence, new landscaping with drought tolerant Florida native plants to bring beauty to the space and support pollinators.
Client priorities: The client wanted to refresh the planting around her road entry while keeping everything low so the view of the county road stays open. The bed is planted entirely in Florida natives tough enough to handle the heat and exposure of a roadside site. She replaced the fence herself, and the new planting was designed to frame it as a shared entrance, welcoming the three other households on the street who also use that road.
