Project description: Residential backyard Florida native meadow that borders retention ponds and a conservation easement along the east side of Lake Apopka in a development that was formerly an orange grove. Planted with a mix of one gallon containers and 4” pots.
This mature project is My Florida Meadow Co.’s founders own backyard meadow. Being on the smaller size, it’s taught that when creating biodiversity and reducing unnecessary management are some of your goals, what you don’t include in the mix is just as important as what you do.
