Fauna: Provides a late season nectar source, usually blooming in November.

Planting Considerations: Eastern silver aster has long, wand like stems that vary in height from 2 - 3’ or more. It could be planted with grasses or stiffer wildflowers to help support the long stems. Beautiful blue flowers appear mostly during November but sometimes sporadically at other times of the year too. Drought tolerant.
