Hello and welcome! I’m Andrea, the landscape designer and creator behind My Florida Meadow Co.

I create, through design and management, biodiverse ecological gardens that support wildlife, create beauty and offer solutions for replacing lawn. I love all aspects of the process from the design phase to planting and the ongoing management. I use predominantly native plants and a few edibles that support pollinators, fennel & dill etc. 

I offer two options for how we can work together.

The first option is for those who want to be involved and have the most communication in the planning phase. 

The second option is for those who want me to come in and create something, with less input and dialogue on their part. I will break down these two options next:

Option One: This way of working together includes a landscape design followed up with an estimate for installation. Here are the details:

  • Landscape design work starts at $1,000.
  • Design work starts with a “blank slate”. If there are existing Florida native specimens in place, we can incorporate those into the design but otherwise, I design from a fresh starting point, a.k.a a new build garden.
  • Includes a suggested plant list with one revision.
  • Includes one, hand drawn - to scale, Birds Eye view landscape design. (No revisions)
  • Includes one plant schedule.
  • Includes one plant bloom time spreadsheet.
  • Installation costs include plants and planting labor and typically start at $5,000. 

Note: Smaller pocket prairies or pollinator strips can be priced on a case by case basis. 

Option Two: This way of working together includes a suggested plant list but the design happens in the field. All projects are planted densely for functional and management purposes as well as to create biodiversity. I will still do a design sketch for my own planning purposes but this won’t be a scaled design for presentation. This way of working together is priced out per square foot.   • Priced per square foot.
  • Includes a suggested plant list with one revision.
  • Includes plants and planting labor.
  • Includes plant bloom time spreadsheet.

 

Management: I offer management services for my projects. Management is billed hourly:
