Fauna: Attracts bees mostly, especially attractive to bumblebees. Also visited often by fritillary and other butterflies.
Planting Considerations: Use in groups of 3-5 or more, weaving through a mixed planting. Florida scrub skullcap is naturally occurring in Longleaf pine sandhills and Florida scrub environments.
Field Notes: Basal foliage ranges in color from shades of green to deep burgundy. Reseeds readily. Winter dormant.
